1. Who we are
GlowUp AI is operated by Patriks Eglitis, an individual sole trader trading as GlowUp AI. For the personal data described here, Patriks Eglitis is the data controller — we decide why and how your data is processed. Contact: support@quickqlowupcheck.com.
2. What we collect and why
- Photos you upload (including facial images) — to run the appearance analysis and generate your report. Legal basis: your explicit consent, given when you upload. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Analysis results (scores, recommendations, session identifier) — to show and re-open your report link. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Email address and country — to deliver your report and unlock access after purchase. Legal basis: contract performance.
- Order and payment status data (transaction reference, purchase status) — to unlock your report and support you. Legal basis: contract performance and legal obligation. Card details are collected directly by our payment processor, never by us.
- Technical and usage data (IP address, approximate country, device and browser data, page interactions, error logs) — for security, fraud prevention, showing the correct currency, and improving the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
3. Who we share data with
- Payment processor — Stripe: card processing, fraud prevention, invoicing and tax calculation for your order.
- Service providers / subprocessors: hosting and database providers, AI image and text analysis providers, email delivery, and error/analytics tooling — all acting on our instructions.
- Professional advisers: legal and accounting, where necessary.
- Authorities: where we are required to disclose by law.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your photos to advertise.
3a. Advertising measurement (Meta)
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram and use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure which ads lead to visits and purchases. For this purpose we share limited event data with Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. — the pages you view, when you start an analysis or a checkout, and whether a purchase completed, together with technical identifiers (Meta cookie identifiers, IP address, browser user agent) and, for purchases, a securely hashed version of your email address and your country. We never send your photos or your analysis results to Meta. Legal basis: your consent where required, otherwise our legitimate interest in measuring our advertising. You can object at any time by emailing support@quickqlowupcheck.com, and you can limit this tracking in your Meta ad preferences or your browser settings.
4. International transfers
Some providers process data outside the EEA/UK. Where that happens we rely on adequacy decisions or EU Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate additional safeguards.
5. Retention
Uploaded photos are kept only as long as needed to produce and deliver your report and are deleted or anonymised within 30 days. Report results are kept for up to 12 months so your link keeps working. Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically 5–10 years). You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time. Email support@quickqlowupcheck.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, server-side-only access to analysis records, and least-privilege credentials. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and notify you of serious incidents where required.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to run the site, keep your session and complete checkout. Our payment provider may set cookies needed for fraud prevention. Any analytics or marketing cookies are only set with your consent, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly process their data.
10. Changes
We will update this notice when our practices change and revise the date at the top of the page.
